Two Weeks after Rejoining Juventus, Pogba out for Two Months with Injury
Paul Pogba is in danger of missing the start of the Serie A season after picking up a knee injury during pre-season training.
The midfielder re-joined Juventus earlier this month after his contract with Manchester United expired.
Pogba initially swapped Manchester for Turin in 2012, but chose to return to Old Trafford in a then world record £89 million transfer in 2016.
He’s now back with Juventus and started Saturday’s 2-0 friendly win over Mexican outfit Guadalajara.
It could be the 29-year-old’s only appearance for some time as he limped out of training in Los Angeles on Monday.

An image on social media shows Pogba being assisted off the pitch by medical staff and it has now been confirmed he has suffered a lesion of his lateral meniscus.
The severity of the injury is currently unknown.
Juventus have said Pogba will not travel to Dallas for Wednesday’s friendly with Barcelona and will instead see a specialist.
“Following complaining of pain in his right knee, Paul Pogba underwent radiological examinations that revealed a lesion of the lateral meniscus,” the club explained in a statement.
“In the next few hours he will undergo a specialist orthopaedic consultation. Therefore, in order to continue treatment, he is not taking part in the trip to Dallas,” Juventus maintained.
