Serena Williams to Quit Tennis after US Open
Twenty-three time Grand Slam champion, Serena Williams, has announced plans to retire after the 2022 US Open.

In an exclusive piece for Vogue Magazine, the legendary tennis player wrote, “It’s the hardest thing that I could ever imagine. I don’t want it to be over, but at the same time, I’m ready for what’s next.
“I’m here to tell you that I’m evolving away from tennis, toward other things that are important to me.
“I’ve been reluctant to admit that I have to move on from playing tennis. It’s like a taboo topic. It comes up, and I start to cry.”
