The Lagos state government made a statement that they will be investigating the unprofessional behavior of the nurses at a hospital where the reality TV star, Patrick Fakoya, aka Rico Swavey, was taken to quickly after he was involved in an accident that later took his life.
In a 30-second video showing a few nurses at a hospital in Lagos State acting inappropriatly with their duties while Rico was in a very critical condition. This behavior has sparked serious outrage on social media.

In the video, Rico Swavey was seen on a chair. One of the nurses was seen called for help to place him on a stretcher, while the others were laid back watching the scene. One of them chuckled as they were filming.
One of the nurses was heard warning her colleague about their behavior.
“YOU PEOPLE SHOULD STOP MAKING THE VIDEO; SOMEBODY IS DYING, YOU PEOPLE ARE MAKING VIDEO,” THE NURSE SAID
Reacting to the public reaction and call for action, the Lagos state Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso, said the state government has began an investigation.
”THAT HOSPITAL IS NOT A GOVERNMENT HOSPITAL. WE HAVE STARTED AN INVESTIGATION INTO THE UNPROFESSIONAL CONDUCTS OF THOSE WHO APPEARED IN THAT VIDEO.” HE SAID.
