Kanye West’s association with German sportswear manufacturer Adidas has ended, knocking him off the Forbes billionaires list.
Adidas severed relations with Kanye West on Tuesday following the controversial rapper’s anti-Semitic comments.
According to Forbes, after deducting the $1.5 billion worth of the Adidas contract from West’s profits, the rapper was no longer on the list of billionaires.
For years, West was connected with rival sportswear firm Nike, but he broke away in 2013, donating his name to Adidas when they unveiled their first Yeezy sneaker together in 2015 – a deal that made him a millionaire.
