AFC Bournemouth now has Michael B. Jordan as a joint owner.
The Creed actor made an investment in the team and assisted in acquiring Bournemouth from its prior owner, Maxim Demin while working with a group of investors lead by American billionaire Bill Foley.
Jordan owns stock in the Black Knight Football Club that Foley oversees.

Foley provided a statement to TalkSport in which he offered his thoughts on the takeover of Bournemouth.
“I have a great deal of regard for the devotion and dedication the Bournemouth community has for this club, and I think that a team’s success depends on its ability to connect with the community.
“We’d like to thank him for his co-operation throughout the process and praise his hard work whilst owner of the club. We wish him well as he focusses on his other business endeavours.”
