It’s your mistake if you die poor – Mr P

According to singer Peter Okoye aka Mr P, the onus of changing one’s financial situation is entirely on the individual.

In a tweet, the PSquare twin explained that no one has control over whether they are born into a wealthy or impoverished family.

While people cannot choose whether or not they are born poor, Mr P believes it is their responsibility to ensure they do not die poor.

“If you are born poor its not your mistake, But if you die poor its your mistake,” he tweeted.
