In an interview with Pheelz, A Ghanaian presenter made it her mission to educate and inform Pheelz about the demise of rap in Nigeria.
Nigerian rappers are now singers as a result of commercials. She cited an example given by a Ghanaian rapper named Amerado, who stated that Nigerians no longer have rappers, but rather singers.

Pheelz stated that there are incredible rappers in Nigeria, including Falz, Vector, M. I, Blaqbonez, and AQ. The presenter revealed that Falz, whom she used to dislike, is now a singer, and that she only remembered Blaqbonez because of “Back in Uni,” in which he stole ideas from other people’s videos for his own music video.
