After meeting with Bola Tinubu, the All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Nollywood actress and director Toyin Abraham has faced criticism online.
This move comes amid requests that her detractors from other political parties cease cursing her for selecting their favoured presidential candidate.
The outstanding actress posted pictures of herself, Tinubu, and Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu from an event on her Instagram page on Wednesday.
It was Toyin Abraham’s first time meeting the former governor of Lagos State, who she claimed gave her some insight into his approach to solving the nation’s problems.
The actress claimed that hearing Tinubu gave her newfound confidence in her decision-making.
She wrote:
“For the first time, I met the incoming president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and he shared some of his Ideas, Visions, and Strategy to solve the challenges before us, as a Nation.
“Listening to him indeed renewed my hope and reaffirmed why he is my choice. Jagaban is coming!”
