“Chris Okafor was full of life, his understanding of music and how beats make your worship experience so much better is a talent that he will be remembered for. Chris served with us in the music ministry arm of HOTR for over 12 years, and while serving, on Sunday, he slumped and was immediately rushed to our in-suite clinic for first aid before being rushed to the hospital.
“Since the news of his passing, we have been reflecting on the moments we had with him. We were so proud of all that he had achieved and we knew that he had so much more to manifest as a son of God.
“To his wife, Destiny, and life partner, we put our arms around you, knowing that you hurt so deeply. However, be assured that you are not alone, and we will get through this together. To Papa, his aged Dad, who must feel the void so deeply, we commiserate; we hope that the memories of Chris will be a constant reminder of his purpose here on earth,” Adefarasin’s post read in parts.
