Reports of an affair with George Wade, the former lover of Empress Njamah, have been refuted by Ini Edo.
Social internet erupted with rumours of a relationship between the two after it was stated that Wade had been caught by Liberian police and that Ini Edo’s video and passport had been found on him.
The actress responded to the reports on Tuesday during an Instagram live session, denying the relationship rumours and clarifying that Wade had approached her pretending to be a film producer looking to cast her in his film.

She further disclosed that he veered off topic during their talk and began to make romance suggestions, which she politely rejected.
The actress issued a warning, asking people to stop spreading false information about her and to leave her alone.
She uttered:
“Just turn on my phone and I’m being bombarded with lots of accusations. I don’t know why people are dragging me into the web of lies.
“Someone messaged me with a foreign number sometime last year, August/September/November. Someone called me and said he wanted to work with me and when I asked how he got my number, he said a colleague gave it to him.”
