Ronke Oshodioke recounts the experience of her daughter, who became seriously ill due to hyponatremia caused by a friend or roommate pouring it into her drinking water.

Ronke said she received a phone call around 3:45 a.m. with the news that her daughter, Jumoke, had drunk hypo. Upon hearing such news, she ran to the school’s hospital and met her daughter crying.

Later, it was discovered that hypo had been deliberately poured into Jumoke’s water bottle, along with water. At 3 a.m., Ronke’s daughter woke up and began feeling pain after drinking the water.

It took three hospitals for Jummy to recover.

Ronke did not want to name the private university where the incident occurred three weeks ago but warned it to do better. She said she had just two kids so she wouldn’t want anything like that happening to her first child again.

Moreover, she warned other students with ill intentions not to approach her.
