At his house in Lekki, Lagos State, Nigerian comedian Eze Sunday Odinaka, well known as Mama Uka, almost dodged death.
The plaster of paris (PoP) ceiling of his home fell on him, as seen in the incident footage that was posted online.

One of the individuals who assisted in rescuing Mama Uka from the rubble claimed that the incident occurred as he was laying on his bed.
The comic was hurt as well; blood was spotted around his head, and he was unable to stand before being helped away from the scene.
