Okey Bakassi, a comedian and performer from Nigeria, criticised a follower for adding racial overtones to a social media post.
The actor posted a video of an aerial view of certain spots in Abuja on his Instagram page and said that everyone knew who built the structures.
He stated: This is Abuja, and we know the people that built it…”.e get why “
In response to the post, a follower with the handle bowest_official questioned Okey Bakassi about the goal of the post.
He claimed that the comedian was sending a false message that could lead to conflicts between ethnic groups.

The actor attacked the fan over the remark, accusing him of having no sense of humour.
He stated:
“if you don’t unfollow me, you’re foolish. I don’t need people who reason like you following me. You lack a sense of humour. Why drag ethnicity into this space, you bigot”
