Guinness World Records have officially warned Nigerians who wish to break a record like Chef Hilda Baci not to do it.
Today, July 4th, 2023, Guinness World Records posted a message on Twitter instructing Nigerians and others on what to do before attempting to break any of their records.
Guinness World Records officially recognised Nigerian chef Hilda Baci of Akwa Ibom State as the world’s most extended cook on June 13th, 2023, with a time of 93 hours and 11 minutes.
Following this development, other individuals—mostly Nigerians—set goals of 120 and 150 hours, respectively, to break the record.

These individuals included Chef Dammy from Ekiti State and Chef Adeyeye Adeola from Ondo State.
Another Nigerian woman, Joyc Ijeoma, attempted to massage people for 72 hours in Lekki for GWR recently, but she passed out after 50 hours.
The Guinness World Record describes all of these attempts as pointless in response since it states in a tweet that the world record must be established before being attempted.
The Guinness World posted information on how to apply to set or break a world record.
The message reads: “Polite reminder that you should probably have your world record title confirmed by our team before attempting it here’s how our process works.”
