Seven years after they quietly chose to split up, Jada Pinkett Smith admitted to her followers that she is still “figuring out” how her marriage to Will Smith functions.

The 52-year-old promoted her new autobiography, Worthy, by going live on Facebook. Adrienne Banfield Norris, 69, her mother, joined her, and she shared her feelings on the book. In addition, she said that during her covert split from her husband Will, she felt as though her daughter was drifting away from her.

Not only did her mother have a lot of inquiries about the peculiar circumstance, but one admirer even questioned her online about if the couple would ever get back together. She responded, reading the question off the screen: “Someone enquired as to whether Will and I will ever be able to get back together.

“And you guys didn’t know it because we didn’t feel like it was something to share because we were trying to figure out what that meant. Will and I have been doing a lot of healing together.

“We have made our way into this interdependence and this beautiful loving space between us. And we are family and we are figuring it out.”
