TB Joshua’s Scandals: Multichoice Set to Exit Emmanuel TV from DStv, GOtv January 17

Following the controversies surrounding the late founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), TB Joshua, as reported by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), Multichoice DStv has notified viewers of its choice to discontinue the broadcast of the religious TV network, Emmanuel TV, established by the deceased clergyman, on channel 390.
According to the message on the screen, it will take effect on January 17th, 2024.

A notification on DStv conveyed: “Dear viewer, please note that Emmanuel TV will exit on January 17, 2024. Thank you for watching.”

Beyond parting ways with MultiChoice, it has been reported that Emmanuel TV will also discontinue on StarSat and various other pay-TV platforms.

This is coming amid a controversial three-part documentary produced by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), which alleged atrocities and sexual crimes committed against the late TB Joshua towards his disciples.

Entertainment Digest reported that the BBC embarked on a historic investigation about the late preacher and his church, interviewing at least 30 alleged former members and workers of the SCOAN.
