According to a statement made by Diageo, US musician Sean “Diddy” Combs has withdrawn all racist claims against the drinks company.
In a joint statement, Combs and Diageo, which owns brands like Guinness and Tanqueray, stated that they have “now agreed to resolve all disputes between them.”
The withdrawal comes six months after the end of their business agreement.
Both parties have agreed to settle all outstanding problems. According to Diageo, “Mr. Combs has withdrawn all of his allegations about Diageo and will voluntarily dismiss his lawsuits against Diageo with prejudice.”**
Last June, Diageo announced the termination of its business connection with Combs after he accused the company of negligence and racism, claiming that his spirits brands were denied resources because of his colour.

Diageo, which is listed on the FTSE 100 Index, said on Tuesday that it has ended its business partnership with the rapper, producer, and entrepreneur.
It is understood that the company has reached a financial arrangement to acquire Mr. Combs’ 50% ownership in their DeLeon tequila joint venture.
In 2013, Mr. Combs purchased the DeLeon brand in collaboration with Diageo. Diageo also agreed on a final payment to dissolve his connection with Ciroc vodka.**
The amount of the settlement was not disclosed.
