Nigeria’s Super Falcons Beat South Africa 1-0 in Olympic Qualifier
The Nigerian women’s football team, the Super Falcons, defeated South Africa’s Bayana Bayana 1-0 in a qualifying match for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

The game, played at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja, saw the Falcons take the lead with a goal from their captain, Rasheedat Ajibade, in the 43rd minute. The second and final leg of the qualifier will be played in Pretoria, South Africa, on Tuesday April 9, 2024.
