Super Eagles striker, Victor Boniface, has expressed his joy at being nominated for a spot in the 2023/24 Bundesliga Team of The Season.

The announcement of nominees was made through a statement on the league’s website on Wednesday. Bayer Leverkusen, Boniface’s club, subsequently shared the list of their eight players who made the shortlist on X,formerly Twitter, on Thursday.
In response, the club posted, “He scores goals, Boniface!” on their social media account.
Boniface shared the post from his club and added, “Not bad for my first season.”
