Layi Wasabi, a well-known sketch creator, told a story of how his uncle travelled from Ibadan to Osogbo to reprimand him for his poor physics score.
Layi revealed in an interview with the 90s Baby Show that his uncle drove him two hours just to punish him for excelling in biology, chemistry, and other artistic topics while failing physics.
Layi was advised to change his major to arts because of his academic performance.

However, this did not sit well with his mother, who thought he was not taking his studies properly. She then reported him to one of his relatives.
The next day, Layi’s uncle went to his residence.
Layi, well knowing of his uncle’s plans, opened the gate for him and assisted with his luggage.
After his uncle took a drink of water, he requested that Layi bring his report card.
Then he told Layi to lie down as punishment for failing physics and performing poorly in maths.
