In a stunning move that is set to reverberate throughout the football world, Kylian Mbappe has put pen to paper on a five-year contract with Real Madrid. The French superstar completed his medical examination earlier on Tuesday morning, paving the way for his highly anticipated signing.

Mbappe was officially unveiled as a Real Madrid player by President Florentino Perez, who presented him with the iconic No. 9 jersey. This historic transfer marks a significant coup for Los Blancos, cementing their status as a dominant force in the sport.

He took a massive £51million pay cut following the move but did pick up an eye-watering £106.5m signing on bonus, as well as a wage of £12.8million a year.

The 25-year-old French forward, widely regarded as one of the greatest players of his generation, joins the Spanish giants on a free transfer after his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expired at the end of the 2023-2024 season.

The signing is a major coup for Real Madrid, who have been pursuing Mbappe for several years. The club’s president, Florentino Pérez, hailed the signing as a “historic moment” for the club.

“Mbappe is a unique talent and a true winner,” Pérez said. “We are thrilled to welcome him to Real Madrid and look forward to seeing him wear the white shirt of our club.”

Mbappe, who has won numerous titles with Paris Saint-Germain and the French national team, is expected to make his debut for Real Madrid in the upcoming season.
