Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu praised Dr. Fola David, a talented artist, for breaking the Guinness World Record for the largest painting by an individual. David’s painting, “Unity in Diversity,” measures 1000 square metres, surpassing the previous record of 629.98 square metres.

The painting celebrates Nigeria’s diverse cultural heritage, featuring the unique attire, languages, art, and essence of the country’s various tribes.

Sanwo-Olu complimented David on his great success, noting his devotion and ingenuity.

The governor also praised David’s efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic, when he worked as a #COVID19Hero at the Onikan Isolation Centre.

The governor’s appreciation was repeated on X, where he wrote: “From the difficult days of the epidemic, when he was a #COVID19Hero at our Onikan Isolation Centre, to breaking world records at our Onikan Stadium (Mobolaji Johnson Arena), Dr. Fola David has been a beacon of greatness and service.
