Nigerian musician Young Jonn claims that he became an artist by chance.

In a recent interview with Revolt, the producer-turned-singer revealed that he never meant to be an artist, but life intervened.

“I never really planned to be an artist, but life played out,” he said.On his transition from producer to artiste, Jonn said, “It was a learning process. It’s a whole different ball game. It’s a whole different hustle, grind and business.

“It took me time, but I think I’m getting hold of it.”

Young Jonn cited Olamide, Kizz Daniel, and Lil Kesh as sources of inspiration in establishing himself as a musician.

Jonn began his career by working with Olamide’s YBNL Nation, producing numerous songs for Lil Kesh, Olamide, and other label artists.
