It was July 15, 2024, the morning started with a serene atmosphere as Hajia Hadrat Omipidan, a devoted Muslim woman, gathered with close family and friends for a heartfelt prayer session. The room was bathed in the warmth of gratitude and the glow of love, a fitting tribute to a woman who has been a pillar of strength and grace. Alhaji Omipidan had arranged for revered Ulamas to lead the recitation of the Holy Quran, offering special prayers for his wife’s continued health, happiness, and prosperity.
As the verses of the Quran echoed through the room, Mrs. Omipidan couldn’t help but shed tears of joy, overwhelmed by the blessings she had received and the love surrounding her. It was a moment of pure reflection—a reminder of God’s grace and the gift of another year.
Yet, the day held even more in store. With her heart still full from the morning’s prayers, Mrs. Omipidan had no inkling of the surprise that awaited her. As evening descended, her husband suggested they spend time with their children, an innocent proposal that masked the grand surprise he had meticulously planned. Unbeknownst to her, he led her to a venue transformed into a scene of celebration, where an intimate dinner awaited in her honor.
The room was filled with the presence of close friends, esteemed colleagues, and prominent figures from across the country. Among the distinguished guests were Mr. Tunde Rahman and Mr. Temitope Ajayi, the duo are Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to President Bola Tinubu on Media.

In the midst of the celebration, Dr. Oyebade delivered a moving tribute, praising Mrs. Omipidan for her unwavering support and understanding in the face of her husband’s demanding career and urged other men to find a way of emulating Alhaji Omipidan by celebrating their wives as a way of reciprocating their love and support over the years. His words echoed the sentiments of everyone in the room—acknowledging Hajia Omipidan as the cornerstone of her family’s success and happiness.
Alhaji Omipidan then took the floor, his voice filled with emotion as he expressed his deep love and appreciation for his wife. “This year, I wanted to make my wife’s birthday unforgettable, blending the spiritual with the sentimental,” he said.
He said further: “she had pulled two successful birthday surprises for me, including traveling down to Osun to pull one and she said I can’t surprise her. But from her looks and expression today, I believe I finally got her. Laughs.”
