Victony, a Nigerian artist, claims that his parents found his serious enthusiasm for music after he survived a vehicle accident in 2021 that put him in a coma for four days.
He revealed in a recent interview with Sway’s Universe that his parents had no objections to his music because it began as a hobby.

According to his tale, his family knew he wanted to pursue it seriously, but he didn’t start until he got accepted to university.
“I used to do music as a hobby and everybody knew that I loved music but they didn’t think I was going to take it seriously. I was good at school so they never bothered about it and they never thought it would distract me from my education but when I got into the university, that was when I started to take it seriously,” the singer said.
