BBN New Rules: Biggie Abolishes Custodian Challenge, HOH Ballot, Restores Immunity for HOH
The organisers of the Big Brother Naija reality show have adjusted some of the rules for the ongoing season.
Entertainment Digest reports that the organisers added new twists to season 9, including the Custodian Challenge, HOH ballot and housemates voting for eviction of the bottom four pairs.
The new rule gave the Custodians the power to influence eviction and the Head of the House ballot. The custodians are also exempted from eviction while the Head of Head is not.
The host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, announced during Sunday’s live show that Biggie has now abolished the Custodian challenge and the HOH ballot as well as striped the housemates the power to vote for eviction of the bottom four pairs.
Biggie restored Immunity for the Head of House. However, the HOH does not have the power to “save and replace.”
According to the latest rules, the pairs will now nominate each other for eviction while viewers have the ultimate power to evict by voting.
