She admitted that in order to survive, she worked multiple jobs.
The actor spoke on a recent episode of the CreativiTEA podcast.
She indicated a desire for early retirement and stated that she had a clear objective of obtaining financial security before she stops working.
“I have been working since I was 17, early retirement is the plan. So I’m doing all my work now so by the time I am retiring at an age people feel is too early, my portfolio and achievements will speak for themselves,” she said.
The actress also stressed the significance of enjoying the process rather than focussing solely on the end result.

“We tend to want to see the end results before we do anything. We don’t enjoy the process. I’m very intentional about enjoying the process and the journey, understanding that you can never truly arrive”, she said.
Speaking of struggles and challenges, Isime said, “People feel like struggles are something to be ashamed of; for me, it’s not. If you go through my Instagram page, you can scroll all the way down. I don’t delete anything because it’s like a memory book for me”.
Isime also spoke about the importance of building a strong foundation, comparing her journey to a biblical principle.
“There’s a part of the Bible that says when your foundation is built on Christ, it’s like building on solid rock, and when the rain comes, it stands solid. That’s what I’ve done, building my way through life,” she added.
