Court Orders Verydarkman to Pay N500m to Femi Falana, Delete Videos
Nigerian online critic Vincent Martins Otse, known as VeryDarkMan, has been instructed by the court to take down his videos regarding Femi Falana.
VDM faced legal trouble with Femi Falana and his son, rapper Folarin ‘Falz’ Falana, after he accused them of bribery on social media while attempting to target crossdresser Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky.
The Falanas promised to pursue legal action against him, and there has been a recent update on the situation.
On October 15, 2024, a legal notice circulated on social media saying that the court told online critic VeryDarkMan to remove his videos about Femi Falana and to stop mentioning the human rights lawyer from now on.
The recent update in VDM and Femi Falana’s case received varied responses from Nigerians. Some were happy with the court’s decision, while others saw it as a form of oppression.
