On October 20, 2020, the nation went into mourning due to the shootings at the Lekki Tollgate carried out by the Nigerian Army to stop the youths from protesting against police brutality.
It has been two years, and Nigerians are still mourning and grieving over the youths who died during the unfortunate tragic incident.

Alex Ekubo wrote on his Instagram page to the Nigerian government, saying the youths will never forget this incident.
