Fast-rising Nigerian musician Michael Adebayo Olayinka, better known as Ruger, appears to be developing a contentious character in the music industry.

The Jonzing record label singer, who was previously embroiled in an online feud with his colleague Buju BNXN, has sparked further controversy with a tweet labelling some of his colleague’s new tracks as “noise.”

He also attacked the new song released by Mavins, his record label’s associate company. Ruger’s table-shaking has gotten people talking, as many have described him as an annoying attention-seeker.

Ruger also mentioned in another portion of his tweet that he is planning to release a new song titled Red Flag, which will be accompanied by visuals. While apologizing for taking so long to release new music following his hit single Potiphar, he revealed that Red Flag would be released on November 15, 2022.
