Valentine: Nigerians will Experience True Love with Naira Scarcity – AY

Popular comedian Ayo Makun aka AY has anticipated the 2023 Valentine would be memorable following the Central Bank of Nigeria’s (CBN) cashless policy and current naira scarcity.
Businesses and the daily lives of Nigerians have been badly affected by the worsening scarcity of old and new naira notes across the country.

The scarcity of the naira, which has persisted for weeks, has radically altered the economic landscape of businesses, the living conditions of the people and small business operators.

As the scarcity persisted, the CBN confirmed the arrest of some bank managers in connection with hoarding the redesigned naira notes while the citizens continue to groan at the biting effect and increase in fuel prices.

With the current happenings across the nation and Valentine’s Day just a couple of days away, AY has projected it’ll be one that will offer lovers the opportunity to experience real love.

Laughing, the humour merchant said: “Cashless Valentine February 14th loading… The first time Nigerians will experience true love.”

Then he posed a question saying, “Is this even possible?”
