Following her victory in the Best Actress in Drama category at the ninth edition of the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA), Nollywood actress Osas Ighodaro has expressed her thanks.
For her performance in Man of God, she received the honour on Saturday.
To win the renowned honour, Osas bested competitors like Bimbo Ademoye, Ini Edo, Nse Ikpe-Etim, and others.
Social media users had mixed feelings about Osas winning the prize for the part, with many pointing out that there were other actresses in that category who were more suited to win.
But on Monday, Osas posted a video of herself wearing the award-winning gown to Instagram. Despite the criticism, the actress expressed her gratitude and blessings.
She wrote, “Grateful, Humbled, Blessed.”
