Super Falcons goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie, has spoken about the team’s defeat to England via penalty shoot-out in the Round of 16 on Monday morning.
Nnadozie shared pictures from the match on her Instagram account expressing her disappointment that the team didn’t make it to the next round of the World Cup.

The female goalkeeper thanked their supporters for their love and encouragement and assured them that they would return stronger.
“So sad not to have qualified for the next round of the World Cup. We gave our all, and I am super proud of this team. We will surely come back better and stronger, thank you all for your love and support,” she said.
England beat Nigeria 4-2 on penalties to reach the quarter-finals of the Women’s World Cup after their last-16 tie finished 0-0 at the end of two hours of football.
