Actors’ Guild Confirms Mr Ibu’s Passing
The National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) Emeka Rollas has confirmed John Okafor, aka Mr Ibu’s passing in an Instagram post on Saturday.

He wrote: “Sad Day for Actors Guild of Nigeria. Kate Henshaw lost her mother earlier today and Mr lbu suffered cardiac arrest according to his manager, Mr Don Single Nwuzor. I announce with deep sense of grief that Mr Ibu didn’t make it. May his soul rest in peace.”
Mr Ibu underwent multiple surgeries and a leg amputation in 2023.
