Mansura Isa, a Kano state activist, announced Fati’s death on Tuesday via Instagram.

The actress died on Monday night in a hospital in Chad, near Sudan. She was supposed to have travelled there to see her relatives.

However, the cause of her death was not divulged.

Isa also stated that her funeral ceremony would be place in Habasha, the location where she died.

“To God we are, and to him we will return. Fati Slow died yesterday in Habasha, near Sudan. Her burial ceremony will take place there, but greetings will be sent from her house in Unguwan Uku,” she stated.

Fati Slow was also lamented by Abba El-Mustapha, the executive secretary of the Kano State Censorship Board, who posted on Instagram.

El-Mustapha prayed for the actress’s soul and asked Allah for pity and forgiveness on her.

“Allah has passed away a friend of the struggle and actress in Kannywood film industry Fatima Usman (Fati Slow),” he stated.

“We pray that Allah has mercy on her, forgives her shortcomings, and makes paradise her final home. If ours comes, may Allah grant us good health and faithfulness.

Fati Slow established herself as a household figure in Kannywood throughout the course of her 15-year career.
