Anthony Odunze, also known as Prophet Rolex, a comedy actor and internet phenomenon, claims he was born to be a comedian.
Prophet Rolex, who has millions of followers across many social media sites, stated that comedy is his life.
Speaking with journalists in Owerri, Imo State’s capital, on Friday, he thanked Almighty God for creating him as a comedian, adding that he is also pleased that his comedy performances are bringing smiles to the cheeks of millions of people.

” I don’t know If I could have done any other thing outside comedy. God intentionally created me a comedian. I am happy, God is using me to put smiles on faces of people despite the challenges of life. I feel grateful with messages of commendations and gratitude I receives on daily bases from people on Facebook, Instagram and Tiktok pages. It gladdens my heart and motivates me to do more.
‘ I was born a comedian. It is a special gift from God to me. Comedy lives in me. I didn’t learn it. But I think, acting constantly have improved my skills. I am happy because most people says they get healed and relieved of their burdens while watching my skits.
“Being international and trying not to compete with anybody have helped my career a lot. From my small thing in Orlu in Imo state and now in Owerri, I am glad I am making millions to smile and laugh away their sorrows and pains. However, it’s not yet uhuru”.
