Gifted with the drum loads of experience and expertise, his dexterity cut across the vast domains of litigation, mediation and arbitration, maritime and admiralty, election matters banking, corporate finance, and telecommunications. He has in his kitty, about a decade and half of dexterity in criminal and civil matters with deep foray into election petition matters and debt recovery – a repository of versatility.
Born into Magaji Jaji family, life for Yunus started in 1986 in the ancient city of Ilorin, present day Kwara State, north central Nigeria. Married and blessed with promising children, Yunus is coloured in the labyrinth of law where shadows dance with light.
An alumnus of Lincoln University, United Kingdom and Bayero University, Kano, his educational journey mirrors his legal philosophy—one of continuous growth and unwavering commitment to excellence. He has personally participated in over 150 cases in both trial and appellate courts.
