Darlington was released to his lawyer on Tuesday evening after meeting the bail conditions set by the police in Abuja.
Adeyanju disclosed this in a post on his X account late Tuesday.
He appreciated those who contributed to the singer’s release and commended the police in the IRT department for their professionalism.

He likewise lauded the work of popular campaigner Omoyele Sowore and another legal counsel, Stan Alieke, in obtaining Speed Darlington’s release.
Before Speed Darlington’s release, some Nigerians had attacked Burna Boy for delaying to free the musician or bring him to court after 72 hours of his arrest.
In an Instagram post, Baba Rex questioned Nigerians and expressed his unhappiness with the arrest.
He wrote:“This life sha. Person insult person for social media. People go laugh and comment. When the person take action, dem go turn against person wen collect insult. This Burna Boy matter, so it was okay for akpi to disrespect him.”
