Miss Universe Nigeria, Chidimma Adetshina Arrives US for the Upcoming November Pageant

Miss Universe Nigeria, Chidimma Adetshina, has arrived in Los Angeles, United States, to commence her final preparations for the Miss Universe pageant, which is set to take place on November 16.

Chidimma announced her arrival via Instagram, urging Nigerians to support her by casting their votes.

Arrived in LA, dressed in bold red and ready to set the stage on fire! Final preparations underway, and I’m here to make Nigeria proud,” she wrote.

“Nigerians, your votes mean everything! Head to the Miss Universe app and cast your votes to help me bring this crown home. Let’s do this together!”

In a previous Instagram post on Thursday, she called upon Nigerians to accompany her on this journey.

“It is time to hearken to the silent voices of the Universe.✨???? It has called out to me for so long, and today, I stand tall to answer that call with a strong purpose—casting away all the barriers that have held me back, and strongly advocating for inclusion,” she wrote.

Following her withdrawal from the Miss South Africa pageant in August due to criticism regarding her Nigerian heritage, Chidimma received an invitation to compete in the 2024 Miss Universe Nigeria pageant, where she ultimately secured the title.

In other news, Nollywood actress Ashabi has responded to a critic who speculated that she would reconcile with her former partner, Portable, despite his ongoing public criticisms.

According to GistLover’s report on Friday, Ashabi posted a video in which she characterized herself as a blessed, happy, determined, grateful, and peaceful individual. In reaction to her post, Portable expressed his discontent, accusing her of seeking fame and suggesting that her affection for him was insincere. He further claimed that her actions were detrimental to his genuine feelings and remarked on her physical condition.

In a recent series of comments on her latest post, Portable cautioned her against communicating with his wife without his knowledge, indicating that such interactions often lead to conflicts between him and his spouse. He also made a provocative statement about potentially fathering a child with one of her friends.

In the midst of his outbursts, Ashabi took to her Instagram account to share a photo of herself, proclaiming herself the Queen of Peace.

In the comments section, a follower remarked that she would eventually return to the singer despite his frequent controversies, stating, “U go still run back lol.” Ashabi responded, clarifying that she had never left, saying, “I no go anywhere B4 na.”
